Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un metodo y aparato para la purificacion de agua de desperdicio, en la cual el agua de desperdicio que se va a purificar se purifica biologicamente en un lecho fijo, de manera particular una etapa de filtro de goteo, el flujo de salida del lecho fijo se somete a filtracion de membrana de extremo muerto, y los solidos retenidos se remueven por retro-enjuague. De esta manera, es posible asegurar que el agua de desperdicio se purifique, usando un lecho fijo, a un grado que la calidad del agua de desperdicio purificada le permite ser reutilizada como agua no potable, en particular para propositos de irrigacion. Ademas, la filtracion usando el principio de extremo muerto tiene la ventaja que el costo de energia en comparacion a la filtracion de membrana en el modo de flujo transversal es bajo y una unidad de filtracion de membrana de extremo muerto ocupa menos espacio que los tanques de sedimentacion finales convencionales y filtros de arena.
