Abstract

Se obtiene un sistema de respaldo de los frenos de emergencia interconectando selectivamente la suspension neumatica como otro deposito para el sistema de frenos de aire. Es decir, si falla el sistema de carga o el deposito primario, el aire comprimido en los depositos de los muelles neumaticos se utiliza como una fuente de energia para alimentar el aire comprimido necesario para la funcion de los frenos. Esto se puede conseguir con modificacion menor a los sistemas de frenos que existen en el tractor y en el remolque, los cuales emplean unidades de suspension neumatica.
