Abstract
Un sistema de frenos con un sensor de proximidad integral para proveer una indicacion de una condicion del sistema de frenos; el sistema de frenos incluye un tambor de freno, una zapata de freno, un cojin de freno, y un sensor de posicion; el cojin de freno esta conectado a una superficie de montaje de cojin de la zapata de freno; el cojin de freno y la zapata de freno se pueden mover desde una posicion desacoplada, en donde el cojin de freno esta separado del tambor de freno, a una posicion acoplada, en donde el cojin se encuentra en acoplamiento forzoso con el tambor de freno; el sensor de posicion esta acoplado a la zapata de freno para detectar la posicion de la zapata de freno con respecto al sensor de posicion; la posicion de la zapata de freno con respecto al sensor de posicion provee una indicacion de una o mas condiciones del sistema de frenos.
