Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un dispositivo para medir un nivel de liquido, que comprende un conjunto de deteccion que incluye dos celdas piezoelectricas asociadas con un medio de control para transmitir ondas ultrasonicas opuestas respectivamente a un reflector de referencia, ubicado a una distancia conocida desde la celda asociada, y desde la superficie superior del liquido, y medios de procesamiento para determinar el nivel del liquido mediante la operacion en los tiempos de propagacion respectivos de los ultrasonidos que emite cada una de las dos celdas; la invencion se caracteriza por incluir medios para definir, despues de haber cargado el dispositivo, una fase de inicializacion, durante la cual los medios de control se encargan de las celdas piezoelectricas, de manera que la relacion entre la proporcion de excitacion de la celda de referencia y la de la celda de medicion de nivel es mayor a la relacion entre esas mismas proporciones durante la fase posterior de medicion estabilizada.
