Description
STOP FOR MOTORIZED VEHICLE DOOR
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a motor vehicle door stop, comprising a first part that can be fixed to a door assembly part, a door or a door frame, and a second part that can be fixed to the other door assembly part, at least one braking and holding box, which is spring-loaded through at least one spring, being placed between the two parts and one of the two parts being formed by an element that can move relative to the other part, and that is supplied with braking ramps or grip marks that are distributed according to the intended door retention positions, and interact with the braking and holding boxes of spring.
Antecedents of the Invention. The motor vehicle door stops of this type are known in a multiplicity of designs, having been developed over time mainly two designs, one of which is distinguished by a retention rod for door, which passes through of a retainer cover containing braking and spring retention boxes, and is supplied with two thinned parts or similar protrusions forming braking ramps or holding marks, and the other of said designs is distinguished by a retaining segment having rest or projections that form clamping marks, and a torsion bar spring that directly or indirectly forms the braking or clamping box. A common feature of both of the types mentioned above, regardless of their very different forms of development is that during the operation the deformation of the loading spring is sought, whose deformation is caused by the interaction of the braking boxes with the loading ramps. braking or clamping marks, necessarily produces a relative movement, although possibly only a slight relative movement depending on the type, between the braking and clamping box in particular and the load spring acting on it. After some time of operation of the door stop, said relative movements between the box spring and the braking and clamping body, also results in abrasion and other wear phenomena in at least one of the two related components, the loading spring and / or the braking and holding box, which, of course, is associated with a change in the surface, in particular, a change comprises an increase in the roughness of the surface. The increased roughness of the surfaces, which can move relative to the other, inevitably results in all the noise that occurs during a relative movement of the two parts. In addition, an increased surface roughness of two parts that move relative to one another also provides the supply of an increase in the force required to initiate the relative movement of the two parts relative to each other, with the consequence, of that only relative movement arises after a certain increase in force, which depends essentially on the progressive increase in the roughness of the surface. In the case of the door stops, this phenomenon results in an abrupt start of the relative movement between the spring and the braking or holding box, once the adjustment trajectory of the braking and holding box, whose trajectory is provided in itself as the braking path, has been ejected and therefore results in an extremely unpleasant and extremely undesirable production of noise at the top of the door stop. A comparable problem arises in particular in the case of torsion bar door stops, for example in those door stops in which a torsion bar spring having an S or C-shaped design and forming a spring load, is fixed through its arrow part in a slot similar to a slot in the hinge sheet of a hinge fin, and additionally also with respect to the relative movement that can not be avoided from the arrow part of the spring the torsion bar with respect to the support surface that faces it in the slot-shaped rest. Both of the problems described above with respect to door stops that have been known in the past were resolved or attempted to be solved in a relatively complicated manner depending on the door stop, partly through the use of support covers or support linings. , partly through the application of covers made of support material and free of maintenance. The use of support linings or support covers, as well as the use of sliding support covers that will be applied in a special way, is relatively complicated, since on the one hand when the support linings or support covers use a component additional this has to be produced and adjusted, on the other hand the application of covers made of a support material free of maintenance to individual components, is also associated with very considerable expenses. Therefore, the present invention is based on the object of developing a motorized vehicle door stop of the type mentioned at the beginning, for the purpose of while retaining basic design features, on the one hand the expense associated with the use of support covers or support linings and the use of covers made of a maintenance-free support material, but at the same time, on the other hand, the disadvantages resulting from an increase are also eliminated, which increases with a Increasing operating life, in the roughness of the surface interacting with each other in a sliding manner, particularly of the loading spring and the holding box.
According to the present invention, this object is achieved in an essential way, by the fact that the spring that interacts with a braking and holding box, is of hardened surface at least in the region in which it is in contact with the braking and holding box. With the help of this measure, which does not require additional components and therefore, and of course, any additional installation expense, it is possible that any abrasion that arises in the region of the contact surfaces between the braking box, retention and the loading spring over the course of the normal life time of a vehicle and a door stop, either completely avoided or kept to a minimum which results in no further increase in the roughness damage of the vehicle. the surface of the two surfaces if they interact with one another in a sliding manner. The particular advantage in accordance with the present invention can be seen by the fact that it can be used with equal success, without taking into account the particular type of torsion bar door stop or body rod door stop. of braking / securing the door, in addition it also includes the additional possibilities of eliminating the possible sources of additional noise.
Summary of the Invention. In a very particular design, custom-made according to the present invention it can also be used however that in principle, the present invention consists in the simplicity of the measurement to avoid the wear of the surface of the region where the interaction surface of the loading spring and of the braking and holding box, its main use is not limited exclusively to the use in said region of a loading spring, which is in contact with the braking and holding box. A general and additional aspect according to the present invention resides additionally in the fact that, in principle it can also be used in any type of door stop based on the interaction of the braking and holding boxes, with a retaining rod , of the door supplied with braking and retention ramps. In a referred implementation form of the present invention, the spring is provided which interacts with a braking and holding box, is to a certain extent a hardened surface both in the region which is brought into contact with the braking and holding box as the region which is put in contact with fixing or securing means. As a result, in addition to the advantages already resulting only from the minimum embodiment according to the main claim, the additional advantage is obtained by excluding any additional source of noise, which arises from a possible change in the roughness of the surface. In a convenient design form of a typical torsion bar spring gate structurally combined with a door hinge, it may be the first thing that will be provided, since the first part that is fixed to an assembly part of a door, is formed by a clamping segment containing the clamping jaws, and the second part that is fixed to the other part of the door assembly, is formed by a torsion bar spring and the braking box, and the Retention is formed by a roller mounted on the free loading arm of the torsion bar spring, and since the torsion bar spring loading arm is hardened around its length section forming the roller spring distribution . In an individual refinement of a door stop of a torsion bar spring configured in a manner and structurally combined with a door hinge, it may subsequently be provided that the torsion bar spring has an S-shaped or C-shaped design and is fixed through its arrow part similar to a groove that is in the hinge leaf of the hinge wing, and is supported by its support arm against the hinge leaf of a hinge wing, and is provided in the region of the end of its free loading arm with a [lacuna] wing support distribution of the roller that forms the braking and holding box. Since during the operation of a door stop provided with a torsion bar spring, like the loading spring, it is also possible for the torsion bar spring to be screwed into its fastening or fixing means, in a corresponding development of a torsion bar spring gate stop, which is equipped with an S-or C-shaped torsion bar spring and structurally combined with a door hinge, it being furthermore possible to provide that the arrow part of the torsion bar S or C-shaped torsion bar spring whose arrow part is fixed on the part of its length in a recess in the shape of the slot in the hinge sheet on the hinge wing, be a hardened surface around in the section of length which is fitted with the rest similar to a groove, at least on the region of its circumference, which is fitted with the rest similar to a slot in the leaf for bisa gra. For a modified and simplified form of refinement in particular for a torsion bar door stop structurally combined with a door hinge, it is additionally suitable in principle that the load-free arm of the torsion bar spring in the form of S or C, which is fixed through its arrow part in a hinge-like slot-like recess for a hinge wing, forms the braking and clamping box around a length section of its region of the end, and this provided in this region with a hardened surface on part of its circumference. The present invention is described in greater detail, in the description of the examples that follow, with reference to an example embodiment illustrated in the drawing, and in which:
Brief description of the drawings. Figure 1 shows a schematic illustration of a torsion bar door stop structurally combined with a door hinge; Figure 2 shows a side view of a S-shaped torsion bar spring.

The hinge wing 3, which can be releasably secured to the door pillar in the exemplary embodiment shown, it is formed of a metal sheet material bent in a U-shape, being formed in the upper leg 5 in the U-shape, whose leg is directed transverse to the axis of the hinge, a clamping segment 8 of the door stop 4, whose segment is formed by alternating projections 6 and depressions 7, and is formed in the lower part of the leg 9 in the U-shape, whose leg is directed transversely to the hinge axis, a pin-shaped projection which is directed in parallel and the same direction as an extension 1 0 of the hinge pin 1, whose extension protrudes from the height of the hinge. The hinge wing 2 has an L-shaped cross-sectional shape and is fitted by fitting the hinge wing 3, being rotatably connected to the hinge wing 3 through the hinge pin 1, by means of its profiled leg and being secured to the door through its other profiled leg. In the embodiment shown for torsion bar door 4, which is structurally connected to the hinge, it has an S-shaped torsion bar spring that is fixed through its arrow portion 14 in a rest-shaped manner. groove 19 located in the wing leaf for hinge of the wing for fitting hinge 2, is supported against said wing for hinge through a support arm 16 and the region thereof forming the loading arm 17 projecting up of the two wings for hinge 2 and 3. The loading arm 17 of the torsion bar spring interacts with the clamping segment 8 of the door spring 4, whose segment is formed in one of the legs of the U-shape of the wing for hinge 3, is formed of projections 6 and depressions 7 placed in an alternative manner, and in the embodiment shown, comprises 3 positions for securing the door. As can be seen in greater detail, in particular from the illustration of Figure 2, the loading arm 17 of the torsion bar spring has a hardened surface 18 about its section of length which interacts with the clamping segment 8. It can be further observed from Figure 2, that also the arrow part 14 of the torsion bar spring can be provided on its length section which is stored in a slot-like rest 1 9 of the wing for hinge 2, in the case of the adjusted door stop, with a hardened surface 20 that reaches the part of its circumference.
