Abstract

Se describe un centro girable de alimentacion y de datos con area de almacenamiento (100) el cual provee el acceso, a un nivel de superficie de trabajo, a la energia electrica, senales de comunicacion y otros tipos de entrada/salida electricas y/o comunicaciones deseadas. El centro de alimentacion y datos (100) incluye una alojamiento fijo (106). Se proporciona un par de conectores de acoplamiento (134), los cuales permiten que el alojamiento fijo (106) se asegurado de manera removible a partir de una ranura (102) formada dentro de una superficie de trabajo (104). Un soporte movil (170) es acoplado de manera rotatoria al alojamiento fijo (106) y es capaz de mover entre las posiciones abierta y cerrada. Un area ahuecada de almacenamiento (244) se forma por el alojamiento (106) y el soporte movil (170).
