Abstract

Un cierre metalico con propiedades repelentes al agua, y metodos para su fabricacion, incluye una concha de cierre metalico, como por ejemplo, el tipo utilizado en las tapas corona o tapas tipo casquillo, y una capa repelente al agua depositada en al menos una porcion de la superficie interior del cierre para que, cuando el cierre sea colocado sobre la corona y la abertura de un contenedor, la abertura es hermeticamente sellada y la humedad es repelida de las regiones confinadas entre la superficie interior de la concha y la superficie exterior del contenedor.
