Abstract

Este resumen proporciona la descripcion de un sistema y el correspondiente proceso de conversion de un gas liviano de hidrocarburo a un líquido de hidrocarburo sintético más liviano. Este sistema está compuesto de un reformador autotérmico, un reactor Fisher-Tropsch y un ciclo Brayton que se encuentran integrados estructuralmente y funcionalmente. En la aplicacion de este proceso, en el reformador autotérmico se introduce una mezcla de alimentacion de gas de hidrocarburo, aire comprimido y el vapor del proceso para producir un gas de síntesis. Luego, el gas de síntesis es alimentado al reactor Fisher-Tropsch donde reacciona catalíticamente para producir hidrocarburos pesados. El material descargado del reactor Fisher-Tropsch es separado en agua, un gas de cola de bajo valor calorífico y el producto buscado, hidrocarburo líquido, objeto final del esta investigacion. El agua es presurizada y calentada para generar el vapor para el proceso. Se calienta el gas de cola y junto con el aire comprimido y el vapor es alimentado al ciclo de Brayton con una cámara de combustion y una serie de turbinas de potencia y compresores. La alimentacion de gas de cola y el aire son quemados en la cámara de combustion produciendo un gas de combustion que es utilizado para accionar una turbina de potencia acoplada por medio de un eje a un compresor de aire propulsando de esta manera un compresor de aire. Además, este sistema comprende una cantidad de permutadores térmicos que permiten recuperar el calor en el descargadero del reformador autotérmico. El calor recuperado es utilizado para generar el vapor del proceso como también para precalentar la alimentacion del gas de hidrocarburo antes de su introduccion en el reactor Fisher-Tropsch, y precalentar el gas de cola antes de su introduccion en la cámara de combustion.
