Abstract

Se describen monoésteres y diésteres de ácido esteárico de polipropilenglicol (PPG), junto con un diluyente de hidrocarburo, que brindan un rendimiento de eliminacion de espuma excepcional en corrientes de procesamiento de minerales sobre las composiciones de eliminacion de espumas hechas con ésteres de otrosácidos grasos; la capacidad de eliminacion de espumas de las composiciones hechas a partir de ésteres de ácido esteárico de PPG es mejorada adicionalmente por la inclusion de una cantidad relativamente pequeña de un agente tensioactivo no ionico de dispersion.
