Abstract
Un proceso para la co-produccion de amoniaco y metanol en una planta que comprende una seccion de reformador secundario, una seccion de conversion de CO a alta temperatura y una seccion de conversion de CO a baja temperatura, arregladas o dispuestas en serie y una seccion de síntesis de amoniaco, se distingue por el hecho de que el flujo de gas que no reacciono proveniente de la seccion de síntesis de metanol, antes de ser alimentado a la seccion de conversion de CO a baja temperatura, se satura en forma ventajosa con un flujo de líquido que comprende H2O calentada en forma apropiada mediante intercambio térmico indirecto con un flujo gaseoso proveniente de la seccion del reformador secundario.
