Abstract
Un método para determinar una ruta de recuperacion (o una ruta adicional) en una red de comunicaciones completa o parcialmente poligonal de nodos, comprende fijar, en un nodo que inicialmente determina ser un nodo extremo esclavo para una ruta existente, un tiempo de espera para recibir un numero de identificaciones del busacador de ruta de avance desde los cuales seleccionará la identificacion que representa la ruta de recuperacion potencial que tiene la longitud más corta y regresa una identificacion del confirmacion de ruta, conmutar, el no se han recibido identificaciones del buscador de ruta a la terminacion del tiempo de espera, para actuar como un nodo extremo maestro para la ruta existente y enviar identificaciones del buscador de ruta inversa hacia sus nodos cercanos; conmutar, a la recepcion de una identificacion del buscador de ruta inversa en un nodo que inicialmente se determina para ser el nodo extremo maestro para una ruta existente, para actuar como nodo extremo esclavo y para enviar una identificacion de retorno correspondiente. Cuando un nodo extremo esclavo recibe la identificacion de retorno que indica que la ruta de recuperacion potencial ya no tiene suficiente capacidad, el nodo conmutará para actuar como un nodo extremo maestro. Cuando una identificacion del buscador de ruta de avance es recibida después de que un nodo ha enviado una identificacion del buscador de ruta inversa, una identificacion de confirmacion de ruta de prioridad es emitida. las identificaciones del buscador de ruta tienen un campo de conteo para indicar la direccion de desplazamiento y el numero de veces que el nodo emisor ha conmutado para actuar como nodo extremo maestro, las identificasiones de avance tienen conteos 1,3, etc. y las identificaciones inversas tienen conteos 2,4, etc. Cuando un nodo ha enviado una identificacion del buscador de ruta de avance, recibio una identificacion del buscador de ruta inversa, envía una identificacion de confirmacion y subsecuentemente recibe una identificacion de confirmacion de prioridad, a menos que se recibe una identificacion de retorno dos rutas de recuperacion se establecerán y los nodos seleccionarán la mejor.
