Abstract

Un tubo de rayos catodicos de color (10) tiene una envoltura evacuada (11) con un cañon electronico (26) en la misma para generar por lo menos un haz electronico (28). La envoltura incluye además un panel de placa frontal (12) que tiene una pantalla luminiscente (22) con líneas de fosforo sobre una superficie interna de la misma. Una máscara de foco de tension uniaxial (25) que tiene una pluralidad de primeros filamentos metálicos separados (40), está ubicada adyacente a unárea de imagen efectiva de la pantalla. La separacion entre los primeros filamentos metálicos define una pluralidad de ranuras (42) substancialmente paralelas a las líneas de fosforo de la pantalla. Cada uno de los primeros filamentos metálicos, a través del área de imagen efectiva de la pantalla, tiene una primera capa aislante substancialmente continua (64) sobre un lado que confronta la pantalla de los mismos. Una segunda capa aislante (&&) se sobrepone a la primera capa aislante. Una pluralidad de segundos filamentos metálicos (60) están orientados substancialmente perpendiculares a los primeros filamentos metálicos y están unidos a los mismos mediante la segunda capa aislante.
