Abstract

Se proporcionar un proceso para regenerar resinas de intercambio de iones, usadas en decolorar azucar, empleando una solucion de sacarosa con cloruro de sodio o calcio, u otro cloruro tal como potasio o una mezcla de estos cloruros, alcalinizada con hidroxido de calcio. El efluente de este proceso de regeneracion de resina, que contiene sacarosa y un bajo contenido de iones cloruro, se pueda usar directamente o después de un tratamiento químico o físico, en la produccion de azucar o procesos de refinacion de azucar.
