Abstract

Un sello para sellar entre un cable y una envoltura que encierra parte de un cable, que comprende: (a) un miembro de pared (3) que tiene una pluralidad de porciones removibles sustancialmente concéntricas (5), las cuales se pueden remover de manera selectiva para proporcionar una abertura para cable del diámetro requerido a través del miembro de pared (3); y (b) material para sellar (9) retenido por el miembro de pared (3), el cual sella, en uso, cuando se remueve una porcion removible (5) del miembro de pared (3), también se remueve una porcion correspondiente del material para sellar (9), provocando mediante lo mismo una abertura para cable del diámetro requerido a través del material para sellar (9).
