Abstract

Un método para la deteccion de un compuesto que imita, aumenta o inhibe el efecto fisiologico de la proteína ob, método que comprende: a) para un compuesto que imita el efecto fisiologico de la proteína ob, valorar el efecto del compuesto sobre un trasductor de señales activado por la proteína ob y un activador del elemento de respuesta de ADN a la transpcripcion (TSAT), acoplado a un gen informador; o b) para un compuesto que aumenta o inhibe el efecto fisiologico de la proteína ob que valora el efecto del compuesto sobre la respuesta provista por una proteína ob sobre un elemento de respuesta de ADN a TSAT activado por la proteína ob, acoplado a un gen informador; estando expresados el elemento de respuesta y el informador en una línea de células sensibles a la proteína ob; un equipo de partes adaptado para su uso en tal método y un compuesto cuando es identificado por tal método.
