Abstract

Un método para reforzar o reacondicionar estructuras de techo de edificios en contra de vientos de fuerza huracanada que no requiere el retiro de todo el techo o parte del mismo. El método mejorado incluye dirigir un flujo delgado de adhesivo líquido de espuma de polímero bajo presion hacia arriba, a lo largo de las intersecciones de vigas o miembros de soporte y los paneles de techo, preferentemente a ambos lados de los miembros de soporte. El adhesivo en espuma ese esparce y se espuma, formando esquineros adhesivos de espuma de polímero que se adhiere firmemente a las superficies adyacentes de los miembros de soporte y los paneles de techo.
