Abstract

Se presenta un proceso y una composicion farmacéutica para la prevencion y el tratamiento de reacciones cutáneas de hipersensibilidad de Tipo I es seres humanos. La composicion farmacéutica comprende un compuesto de cromona de la formula (I), o bien una sal, éster o amida farmacologicamente aceptable del mismo, disuelto o disperso en un vehículo farmacologicamente aceptable. De conformidad con el proceso, una cantidad preventiva o terapéuticamente efectiva de la composicion se administra topicamente a un paciente humano, segun lo requerido; por ejemplo, para la prevencion, la composicion se administra sobre el área de la piel susceptible de estar expuestas a antígeno y para el tratamiento, la composicion se administra sobre el sitio de la reaccion.
