Abstract
La presente invencion se dirige a un método para tratar cuero curtido, para mejorar sus características de teñido mientras que al mismo tiempo se retienen una resistencia de rompimiento de grano y resquebrajamiento de grano. El cuero curtido es contactado, de preferencia por inmersion, en un flotador que contiene un syntan y un colorante deseado. El syntan incluye un copolímero de un monomero de ácido carboxílico y un monomero de éster de vinilo tal como acetato de vinilo. El método de recurtido de la presente invencion provee una latitud extensa de proceso.
