Abstract

La invencion está relacionada con una cepa(s) novedosa de Bacillus thuringiensis, en la cual esencialmente toda la actividad pesticida de dicha cepa está en el sobrenadante de una fermentacion de dicha cepa. La cepa produce una substancia, la cual tiene actividad contra una plaga(s) de insectos del orden de Coleopteros y la cual mejora la actividad pesticida de un pesticida relacionado con Bacillus. La invencion además se refiere a composiciones pesticidas que comprenden la substancia y un vehículo pesticida, o la substancia y un pesticida relacionado con Bacillus, un pesticida químico y/o un virus con propiedades pesticidas, así como a métodos para utilizar las composiciones pesticidas para el control de una plaga.
