Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con composiciones de caucho cargadas con sílice y su método de procesamiento. Las composiciones de caucho contienen de 10 a 150 phr de una sílice precipitada en partículas que tiene dispersa en la misma un trialcoxisilano de la formula: R1S1 (OR2)3 en donde R1 se selecciona independientemente del grupo que consiste de radicales de alquilo que tienen de 1 a 20 átomos de carbono y radicales de arilo que tienen de 6 a 24 átomos de carbono; R2 es un radical de alquilo que tiene de 1 a 8 átomos de carbono; y en donde el trialcoxisilano está presente en una sílice a un nivel que varía de 1 por ciento a 20 por ciento en peso, basado en el peso de la sílice.
