Abstract

Se describe un aparato y un método para verificar periodicamente los cambios estructurales de un electrodo en una batería recargable, que incluye una celda electroquímica (30) de rayos X, in situ, que comprende miembros de celda superior e inferior (32, 34) incluyendo al menos un elemento (36) de ventana de berilio para la transmision de la radiacion X del difractometro. Una batería recargable (43) montada dentro del alojamiento de la celda de rayos X comprende un electrolito/elemento separador (68) interpuesto entre los electrodos positivo y negativo (64, 66).
