Abstract

Esta invencion es un adhesivo de dos partes que comprende A) un prepolímero de poliuretano que tiene porciones de isocianato reactivas; y una segunda parte B) una composicion curativa que comprende i) una poliurea, que comprende el producto de reaccion de una poliamina y un poli-isocianato, disperso en un prepolímero de poliuretano basado en poliol que tiene porciones de hidroxilo reactivas y opcionalmente un plastificante; ii) un compuesto que tiene por lo menos una porcion de oxazolidina capaz de reaccionar con un isocianato bajo condiciones de curacion; y iii) un catalizador capaz de catalizar la reaccion de isocianato y porciones de hidroxilo en presencia de humedad. El adhesivo de esta invencion provee tiempos de separacion razonables para reemplazar vidrio que se une en automoviles. Dichos tiempos de separacion preferiblemente son de 60 minutos y más preferiblemente de 30 minutos de la aplicacion del adhesivo. El adhesivo de la invencion también provee tiempos de trabajo razonables, de 10 a 12 minutos. Adicionalmente, las resistencias de esfuerzo cortante de la junta solapada del adhesivo en el tiempo de separacion preferiblemente es de 1033 kPa y más preferiblemente de 1723 kPa de acuerdo con ASTM D-3163.
