Abstract
Se provee una torre rociadora (114) para remover gases y materia en partículas de gases de combustion, los cuales producidos por operaciones de procesamiento de tipo que se realiza en fabricas e instalaciones industriales. La torre rociadora se reducen el mínimo los costos de construccion, operacionales y de mantenimiento. Un tanque (130) ubicado en la base de la torre sirve como un deposito para un lodo alcalino utilizado para remover gases y materia en partículas de los gases de combustion. El lodo es bombeado del tanque hacia los dispositivos aspersores (116, 118) ubicados dentro de la torre. Una entrada (112) esta ubicada por arriba del tanque a través de la cual los gases de combustion son introducidos hacia la torre. Dispuestos dentro de la torre y adyacente a la entrada se encuentra un recinto (128) que tiene un extremo superior unido a la torre y un extremo inferior definiendo una abertura. Los dispositivos aspersores están ubicados dentro del recinto, de preferencia aproximadamente a la misma altura como la entrada, de manera que se reduce la altura total de la torre.
