Abstract

Un sistema y método para transmitir datos digitales sobre un canal inalámbrico utiliza palabras piloto diferencialmente codificadas, periodicamente transmitidas, para permitir que un receptor se sincronice rápidamente con un transmisor. Cada palabra piloto diferencialmente codificada comprende por lo menos dos símbolos piloto que son separados por una diferencia fija. El receptor verifica las diferencias entre los símbolos para localizar las palabras piloto diferencialmente codificadas, y sincronizarse así con el transmisor. Una vez que el receptor se sincroniza con el transmisor, el receptor utiliza los símbolos piloto de las palabras piloto diferencialmente codificadas para realizar la valoracion y compensacion del canal.
