Abstract

Un receptor de television comprende un generador de gráficos (200), u procesador de video (242, 252), un procesador de audio (244, 254) un procesador de recuerdo de imagen en recuadro de imagen (230) y un controlador (210) para producir una exhibicion de un arreglo (100) de imágenes insertadas. El controlador (210) ocasiona que una imagen insertada del arreglo (100) de imágenes insertadas se exhiban con una imagen de gráficos asociada para indicar seleccion de una imagen insertada y ocasiona la reproduccion de la señal de audio asociada con dicha imagen insertada seleccionada. En una modalidad, todas las imágenes excepto la seleccionada, se "congelan" y la imagen seleccionada se actualiza en tiempo cercano real. En otra modalidad, un segundo sintonizador (250) se sintoniza al canal de imagen seleccionada y se usa para proveer sonido para la imagen seleccionada, mientras el primer sintonizador (240) continua sintonizando secuencialmente los canales desde los cuales se derivan las imágenes.
