Abstract

Se presenta un método y un aparato para revestir simultáneamente capas delgadas multiples de fluidos relativamente viscosos, incluyendo adhesivos sensibles a la presion (PSAs), sobre un sustrato en movimiento. El método de la presente invencion comprende el ajuste de los gradientes de presion en la region de la interfaz entre los dos flujos confluentes para evitar la recirculacion. En particular, el gradiente de presion a lo largo del borde medio se regula de tal manera que no sea excesivamente positivo, para posicionar la línea de separacion entre el flujo superior y el flujo inferior en un punto particular en los bordes de troquelado, mejorado así un flujo estable. En el aparato de la presente invencion, se forma una configuracion de escalon en los bordes de troquelado de tal manera que el borde corriente abajo se aleja del sustrato en la direccion de desplazamiento del sustrato. En otro aspecto de la presente invencion, el gradiente de presion en varias ubicaciones en la perla es controlado mediante el achaflanado de los bordes corriente arriba y corriente abajo. En un aspecto adicional de la presente invencion, las viscosidades de los dos líquidos en proceso de aplicacion corresponden a esfuerzos cortantes para promover una buena calidad de revestimiento.
