Abstract
La presente invencion se dirige a un proceso para tratar una corriente acuosa de desechos de KF, el cual comprende una etapa de tratamiento seleccionada del grupo que consta de la separacion de gas inerte de la corriente acuosa de desechos del KF, pasar esta corriente de desechos a través de un lecho de carbon, y concentrar la corriente de desechos, o una combinacion de ellas, para remover los compuestos orgánicos disueltos. La presente invencion también se dirige a someter la corriente de desechos de KF tratada al desdoblamiento electrodialítico en una celda de desdoblamiento del agua, para formar el HF y cualquiera del KOH o una corriente de sal agotada del ácido. El HF diluido se puede concentrar a un producto concentrado, viable comercialmente.
