Abstract

Esta invencion se refiere a procedimientos para producir asimétricamente enantiomeros puros de metanaminas sustituidas con alfa-cicloalquilalquilo a partir del alfa-pineno. Una etapa clave del procedimiento de esta invencion utiliza el producto de oxidacion del alfa-pipeno, hidroxi-pinanona como un quiral auxiliar para dirigir la alquilacion esteroselectiva de la correspondiente cetimina. Esta invencion se refiere también a productos intermedios claves utiles en los procedimientos descritos en la presente memoria.
