Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para preparar una espuma flexible caracterizado porque comprende hacer reaccionar: I. Una composicion de poliisocianato, que tiene un valor de NCO de 10-25% por peso y que comprende: a) 70-90 partes por peso de un prepolímero isocianato que tiene un valor de NCO de 5-15% por peso preparado haciendo reaccionar una cantidad excesiva de un poliisocianato orgánico y un poliol que tiene un promedio nominal de funcionalidad hidroxilo de 2-3, un numero promedio de peso equivalente de 1000-3000 y un contenido de oxietileno de 5-25% por peso; b) 10-30 partes por peso de un poliisocianato que tiene un valor NCO de 30-33% por peso; y II. Una composicion de poliol en una cantidad de 30-150 partes por peso por 100 partes por peso de la composicion de poliisocianato anterior, la composicion de poliol comprende: a) de 70-90, partes por peso de un poliol de polioxietileno-polioxipropileno que tiene un promedio nominal de funcionalidad hidroxilo de 2-3, un numero promedio de peso equivalente de 1000-3000 y un contenido de oxietileno de 5-25% por peso; b) 5-25 partes por peso de un polieterpoliol que tiene un promedio nominal de funcionalidad hidroxilo de 2-8, un numero promedio de peso molecular de 200-3000 y un contenido de oxietileno de por lo menos 80% por peso en base al contenido total de oxialquileno; c) 2-8 partes por peso de agua; la cantidad de 2a), 2b), 2c) siendo juntas 100 partes por peso; y opcionalmente d) aditivos; a un índice de isocianato de 40-100.
