Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para preparar una espuma de poliuretano flexible haciendo reaccionar I) un poliisocianato orgánico con II) un poliol que tiene un promedio nominal de funcionalidad hidroxilo de 2-3 y numero promedio de peso molecular de 1000 a 12000; y opcionalmente con III) un compuesto reactivo con isocianato que contiene por lo menos 2 átomos de hidrogeno reactivos con isocianato y que tiene un numero promedio de peso molecular de 60 a 999; utilizando IV) un agente de soplado; y opcionalmente V) un catalizador; y opcionalmente VI) otros auxiliares y aditivos conocidos per se, está caracterizado porque comprende: a) el poliisocianato es una composicion de poliisocianato que tiene un valor NCO de 11-22% por peso, el cual es una mezcla de a1. el poliisocianato es una composicion de poliisocianato que tiene un valor NCO de 11-22% por peso, el cual es una mezcla de a1. 75-95 partes por peso de un semi-prepolímero terminado en isocianato que tiene un valor NCO de 9-20% por peso, preparado haciendo reaccionar una cantidad excesiva de una composicion de poliisocianato, que consiste de35-75% por peso de diisocianato de difenilmetano y 25-65% por peso de poliisocianato de polimetileno-polifenileno, con un poliol que tiene un promedio nominal de funcionalidad hidroxilo de 2-3 y un numero promedio de peso molecular de 1000 a 12000; y a2. 5-25 partes por peso de un poliisocianato de polimetileno-polifenileno; b) 25-120 partes por peso de poliol 2) se utilizan por 100 partes por peso del poliisocianato orgánico; c) se utiliza agua como el agente de soplado en una cantidad de 3-15 partes por peso por 100 partes por peso de poliol 2); y d) la reaccion se lleva a cabo a un índice de 40-130.
