Abstract

Se preparan succinilsuccinatos dialquílicos en una forma pura y con un alto rendimiento, mediante la reaccion de un alcoholato de metal alcalino con un exceso de succinato dialquílico bajo condiciones anhidras, seguido por aislamiento de la sal de di(metal alcalino) del succinilsuccinato dialquílico, y luego la neutralizacion de la sal con ácido. El succinilsuccinato dialquílico resultante se aísla o se utiliza, sin aislamiento, como un intermediario en la produccion de pigmentos de quinacridona. El proceso divulgado proporciona altos rendimientos y un desecho orgánico reducido, comparándose con los procesos conocidos.
