Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un excitador o elemento regulador para el bulbo o bombilla ultravioleta de un sistema para el tratamiento de agua. El excitador incluye un transformador elevador y un oscilador de reaccion o realimentacion, conectados entre el secundario y el primero del transformador. El secundario del transformador también esta conectado en forma selectiva, a través de uno de dos diferentes compensadores del capacitor, dependiendo del flujo de agua a través del sistema. En un modo de baja intensidad, la corriente y el factor de potencia de salida del excitador son relativamente bajos, preferentemente de bulbo energizados. En un modo de alta intensidad, la corriente y el factor de potencia son relativamente altos para dar energía al bulbo con una eficiencia relativamente alta. El excitador funciona a un voltaje de Corriente Directa relativamente bajo. Un convertidor de voltaje, seleccionado como funcion del voltaje de línea local, convierte el voltaje de línea de Corriente Alterna al voltaje de Corriente Directa necesario.
