Abstract
El dispositivo comprende esencialmente una corona (1) con un eje vertical impulsado en rotacion hacia el interior de una caja (2) que está arreglada para definir alrededor de la corona dos zonas de seccion variable (Za, Zb) respectivamente, para la introduccion de efluentes contaminados y la evacuacion de efluentes depurados o purificados. La purificacion se realiza a través de una pasaje desde una zona a la otra, a través de la corona que comprende un lecho catalítico anular (9) que recubre la pared interna de la misma y de preferencia una carga o relleno anular (M) exterior al lecho catalítico, y que consiste de un material que tiene una gran superficie de intercambio térmico. Los medios son utilizados para formar o crear pérdidas de cargas importantes, evitando los escapes que pasan alrededor de al corona. Un quemador se puede agregar si es necesario en la zona de reaccion. Este arreglo permite reducir considerablemente el lugar ocupado y el peso así como sus costos de fabricacion y mantenimiento. Se aplica para la depuracion de gas cargado por ejemplo con compuestos orgánicos volátiles.
