Abstract

PURPOSE: A charging device for raw materials for blast furnace capable of being installed simply and at lower cost, having a turnable hopper driving gear and a support roller supported on a ring support base provided to small bell hopper cover.
CONSTITUTION: The small bell hopper cover 14 is provided with the ring support base 16 surrounding the turnable hopper 1, and on the support base 16 as the common base, the driving gear 17 for the ring gear 101 on the outside circumference of turnable hopper and the support roller 20 are supported. Thus, no center variation takes place in the driving and support devices and therefore the rotation of turnable hopper and the sealing of the turnable bell can be prevented from anomaly and failure and abnormal wearing can be prevented. Also, since the whole of the charging device can be divided into the blocks A, B, C, and D, the installation work can be easily performed.
