Abstract

Un controlador de batería vehicular es un accesorio que conecta polos similares de una batería multiple y tiene un interruptor R1 que permite la carga del generador, la descarga de la batería y la preservacion de la carga. El controlador utiliza un circuito discreto, ASIC o microprocesador para monitorear las cargas de la batería. Una version simple detecta la caída de voltaje cuando R1 conecta dos baterías y abre R1 si la corriente es demasiado grande para R1. Las cargas auxiliares se suministran a través de un interruptor opcional R2, lo cual imparte cargas para asegurar que la batería ponga en marcha el vehículo. Un dispositivo de proteccion de sobrecorriente abre el R1 si el flujo de corriente entre las baterías es demasiado grande por ejemplo cuando se enciende un vehículo. Un filtro detiene la abertura de R1 en respuesta a los surgimientos provocados por la conmutacion en las luces. Un detector de movimiento cierra R1 y R2 para ayudar al encendido.
