Abstract

Se trata de una embarcacion capacitada para desplazarse tanto sobre el agua como sumergida, realizando la inmersion por efecto dinámico cuando así lo requiere el operador y que adopta una estructuracion tipo catamarán, a base de dos flotadores laterales (1,1'), que se mantienen parcialmente por debajo de la línea de flotacion (2), mientras que su cabina (3) se encuentra totalmente por encima de dicha línea cuando la embarcacion se encuentra en superficie; alerones (4) situados entre los flotadores (1) permiten la gobernabilidad de la embarcacion, tanto en las maniobras de inmersion como en superficies, mientras que el empuje es generado por una pareja de hélices situadas en la extremidad posterior de los flotadores (1) y accionadas por motores diesel (9) cuando se desplaza sobre el agua o en inmersion a muy escasa profundidad, mientras que a mayor profundidad los motores (9) son sustituidos por motores eléctricos (12) alimentados por baterías (13).
