Abstract

En un aparato para la separacion de masas gutiformes de vidrio fundido de uno o más filamentos de vidrio fundido, se efectua la separacion de cada mes gutiforme por medio de un par de cuchillas de corte o movimiento lateral. Una cuchilla de movimiento lateral de cada par de cuchillas de movimiento lateral, se coloca sobre un brazo de movimiento lateral asociado, montado sobre pivote. Los dos brazos de movimiento lateral, están montados libre y coaxialmente de manera pivotal o en giro uno con otro sobre una columna comun. Cada brazo de movimiento lateral, es impulsado pivotalmente y de forma sincronica en relacion con el otro, por medio de sus propios medios de impulsion.
