Abstract

El procedimiento de rendimiento mejorado para la síntesis de urea a partir del amoníaco y del dioxido de carbono, que comprende una zona de reaccion bajo condiciones de temperatura y de presion elevada, una seccion en donde una porcion del dioxido de carbono y el amoníaco sin reaccionar son separados y recirculados al reactor, con la seccion que trabaja bajo substancialmente la misma presion del reactor, y una seccion subsecuente, que opera bajo las condiciones de presion baja y/o media, para la purificacion de la urea y la recuperacion simultánea del dioxido de carbono residual, y una porcion del amoníaco residual contenido en la corriente del afluente, desde la seccion de la separacion, como una solucion acuosa del carbamato de amonio, en el cual la solucion del carbamato de amonio acuosa es ya sea total o parcialmente alimentada a la seccion de la separacion. Procedimiento que hace posible una conversion del dioxido de carbono en urea, que se obtiene en el reactor, la cual es mayor al 70%.
