Abstract

Se describe un tipo híbrido de la estructura de un igualador de retroalimentacion de decision (DFE) que se aproxima al DFE de funcionamiento optimo. El DFE híbrido incluye un DFE de interferencia intersímbolos (ISI-DFE) y un DFE predictor de ruido (NP-DFE). La estructura DFE híbrida está diseñada de tal manera que una forma de valores de derivacion domina sobre la otra. Esto permite que el transmisor utilice solamente los valores de derivacion dominantes durante la precodificacion y reduce la complejidad del transmisor. En particular, un DFE híbrido está diseñado de tal manera que los valores de coeficiente I(z) dominan sobre los valores del coeficiente N(z), donde la notacion I(z) y N(z), como se conoce en la técnica, representan los valores del coeficiente después de la adaptacion del ISI-DFE y el NP-DFE, respectivamente. Un esquema de precodificacion Tomlinson respectivo en el transmisor utiliza solamente los valores I(z). Ya que solamente los valores I(z) se utilizan en el precodificador del transmisor, el NP-DFE del receptor se mantiene activo durante la fase de comunicaciones. Convenientemente, el uso continuo del NP-DFE en el receptor permite que el receptor siga la pista de cambios pequeños en el canal.
