Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un procedimiento de puesta en forma de materiales metálicos en el estado semi-solido, el cual comprende; - la penetracion de una bola de pudelaje de metal tixotropo correspondiente al peso del metal que se va a utilizar, - el recalentamiento de la bola de pudelaje en el estado semi-solido hasta la tasa líquida correspondiente a la viscosidad deseada para la puesta en forma, - la transferencia de la bola de pudelaje a una prensa de forja o un dispositivo de colada bajo presion, - la puesta en forma de la bola de pudelaje por forjado o colada bajo presion. El procedimiento se caracteriza porque la viscosidad de al bola de pudelaje se regula al valor deseado gracias a una regulacion correspondiente de la potencia de recalentamiento, a una magnitud ligada a la resistencia opuesta por el material, al punzon o al punzon de inyeccion durante la fase de llenado de forja o del estampador del molde. El procedimiento se aplica especialmente a la puesta en forma de aleaciones de aluminio tixotropicas.
