Abstract
Un método para inhibir la corrosión en máquinas de absorción de amoniaco-agua que incluye la adición de compuestos de silicio solubles a una solución de amoniaco-agua. Ejemplos de estos compuestos de silicio incluyen silicato de sodio (Na2SiO3), silicato de potasio (K2SiO3), silicato de litio (Li2SiO3), ácido silícico (H2SiO3) y tetrametoxisilano (CH3O)4Si.
