Abstract

Se describe un sistema de distribución automática de llamadas (ACD) de red que, cuando el conmutador en la red ha bloqueado los servicios, distribuye llamadas a otro conmutador más con servicios disponibles; en donde tal distribución está basada en la información almacenada en cada conmutador. La información almacenada comprende una lista de conmutadores dentro de la red, en donde un estatus de disponibilidad está asociado con cada servicio, y un estatus de disponibilidad de un línea troncal que conecta el conmutador inicial y los otros conmutadores en la red. Cada conmutador envía un estatus actualizado a los otros conmutadores vía una red de señalización, siempre que un servicio cambia de estatus.
