Abstract
Se describe un proceso de baja sedimentación para formar un aditivo de aceite lubricante borado, soluble en aceite, sustituído por polímeros con contenido de nitrógeno o éster. Un aditivo sustituído por polímeros con contenido de nitrógeno o éster en presencia de un solvente del mismo, se pone en contacto bajo condiciones de reacción de boración en una zona de reacción con ácido bórico en partículas. El ácido bórico tiene una distribución de tamaño de partículas dentro del aceite lubricante que se caracterizatotal õi(4/3)N1Òdi3 área de sup. esférica t. õiNiÒdi2 en donde para cada uno de múltiples segmentos de distribución que definen un rango de tamaño de partícula; di es el diámetro promedio de partícula para el segmento de distribución a la i; Ni es el porcentaje de volumen de partícula del segmento de distribución a la i; y la suma se toma sobre todos los segmentos de distribución.
