Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones para uso germicida, de yodo-detergente, acuosas, estables, y a concentrados adaptados para la aplicación a la piel humana o de los animales, que tienen proporciones de detergente:yodo, deseables, de aproximadamente 2-4.5. Las composiciones y concentrados incluyen un copolímero de bloques de polioxipropileno polietoxilado (poloxámero) como el agente formador del complejo, en donde la porción de polioxipropileno tiene un peso molecular promedio de al menos 2600 y un contenido de polioxietileno de aproximadamente 30 por ciento-75 por ciento en peso, en combinación con desde aproximadamente 0.1 por ciento-5 por ciento en peso, promedio, del yodo disponible, sobre una base nominal. El uso de la clase definida de los poloxámeros, permite la formulación de concentrados y composiciones estables tanto a una temperatura elevada como a una temperatura baja. Otros ingredientes tales como emolientes, agentes amortiguadores y mejoradores de la viscosidad, también pueden formar una parte de las composiciones y concentrados de utilidad.
