Abstract

Una unidad de motor lineal que tiene rigidez mecánica mejorada, que comprende: (a) por lo menos un par de rieles en cascada, interconectados rígidamente que definen un primer eje de movimiento y separados en forma normal o perpendicular a dicho primer eje; (b) por lo menos un par de bastidores movibles a lo largo del par de rieles, presentando cada bastidor por lo menos un par de superficies de soporte opuestas en forma paralela; (c) por lo menos un motor lineal efectivo para operar entre cada riel y bastidor; (d) cojinetes soportados entre cada riel y cada superficie de soporte de cada bastidor, estando los cojinetes precargados con una carga de interferencia mientras que se permite el movimiento del cojinete; y (e) una estructura de soporte entre los bastidores que definen ejes de movimiento accionados por otros motores lineales.
