Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a un montaje conectador para conectar un cable de fibra óptica a un enchufe o encastre, el cual puede ser utilizado en el campo con las ventajas de una conexión de precisión y de prueba, encontrados en una instalación de fabricación. El cable de fibra óptica tienen un primer extremo, y una primera longitud predeterminada de una primera fibra óptica sin aislamiento, se extiende desde el primer extremo. El montaje conectador comprende un casquillo o manguito de empalme para retener una segunda fibra óptica. El casquillo o manguito de empalme tiene un primer extremo, un segundo extremo, un eje central que se extiende entre el primer y el segundo extremo, y un oficio que se extiende a lo largo del eje central.
