Claims (5)
- 하기의 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파이버의 스플라이싱 방법. (a) 종방향 보어를 가지는 유리제의 중공원통형 스플라잇 부재를 제공하는 단계, (b) 코어와 크래딩을 가지는 한쌍의 광파이버를 제공하는 단계, (c) 상기 광파이버의 단부로 부터 외면 보호수지를 제거하는 단계, (d) 상기 스플라이스 부재의 일단부로 부터 상기 종방향 보어내에 상기 하나의 광파이버의 수지가 제거된 단부를 삽입하는 단계, (e) 상기 스플라이스 부재의 타단부로 부터 상기 종 방향 보어내에 상기 다른 하나의 광파이버의 수지가 제거된 단부를 삽입하여 상기 두 광파이버의 각 단부를 상기 스풀라이스 부재의 양단부 사이의 중간지점에서 접촉시키는 단계, (f) 상기 스플라이스 부재의 양단부에 접착제를 가하여 각 과파이버를 스플라이스 부재에 고정시키는 단계, (g) 상기 접착제를 고화시키는 단계.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 원통형 스플라이스 부재가 그 양단부에 상기 종방향 보어와 연통하는 깔대기 형상의 개구를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파이버의 스플라이싱 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 종방향 보어의 직경이 상기 보호 수지를 제거한 광파이버의 직경보다. 0.1-10μm 큰것을 특징으로 하는 광파이버의 스플라이싱 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 광파이버의 보호수지를 제거한 단부를 상기 종방향 보어 내로 삽입하기 전에 광학 오일에 침지시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한느 광파이버의 스플라이싱 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 보호수지를 제거한 과파이버의 단부 전체가 상기 스플라이스 부재내에 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파이버의 스플라이싱 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
