Abstract

Se proporciona un proceso para preparar polisacáridos alifáticos, en el cual una suspensión de una fuente de sacárido acuoso en una primera porción de alcohol alifático, es introducido en una segunda porción del alcohol alifático mantenido a una temperatura elevada y bajo una presión reducida para formar una mezcla de la fuente de sacárido y alcohol con un contenido de agua reducido, introduciendo un catalizador ácido en la mezcla con el contenido de agua reducido y hacer reaccionar el alcohol alifático con la fuente de sacárido para formar un glicósido alifático.
