Abstract

Los compuestos de la siguiente fórmula (I): en donde R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, n y p son como se define aquí, poseen actividad anticonvulsiva en mamíferos y, por lo tanto, son útiles en el tratamiento de alteraciones del sistema nervioso central, tales como la epilepsia. Los compuestos de la fórmula (I) también son útiles para tratar glaucoma y úlcera pépticas. Además, los compuestos de la fórmula (I) son diuréticos, por lo cual son útiles en el tratamiento de la hipertensión, de fallas cardiacas congestivas y de otros tipos de edemas.
