Abstract

Un baño de tratamiento de superficie de fosfato que contiene un compuesto polímerico orgánico catiónico (o sal del mismo) que contiene por lo menos un átomo y tiene un peso molecular de 1,000 a 1,000,000, forma una película altamente resistente a la corrosión sobre superficies de metal (v.gr., hierro, zinc, aluminio, etc.) que es también un aparejo de pintura excelente. La película de preferencia es una en la cual la resina compuesta del compuesto orgánico catiónico ( o sal del mismo) ha penetrado en las juntas intergranulares entre los cristales de fosfato con una formación acompañante de un compuesto de cristal de fosfato/resina.
